Exclusive necklace with ancient glass beads from the 900 to 1200s. Three Islamic eye beads from the late Roman to early Islamic glass bead making period (900 to 1100 AD, see bead time line ) are strung with glass beads from excavations in Djenné, Mali, dating from the same period.
!he eye beads are two blue beads with white and dark blue eyes, the focal bead is green glass with red-yellow eyes. All three beads are in pristine condition. Focal bead 12 mm diameter, tiny beads 2 to 3 mm, length of necklace 50 cm, sterling silver spacers and clasp.A necklace with very very rare beads!

Please bear in mind that the majority of the beads and ethnic elements I use are OLD or ANTIQUE , even ANCIENT! The show wear and age. I usually mention any defaults in my descriptions but I can overlook a minuscule old chipor dent. As this has happened recently and resulted in a severe dispute with the buyer I want to point out again that I do not use NEW material (except if stated) and that ethnic elements, old jewelry parts, etc. might have very minor defaults NOT specially mentioned in the description.I do not accept this as a reason for a return claiming that the item does not correspond tothe description.
