This chair’simmaculately handcrafted design lends itself to an exceptionally comfortableexperience. The original caned seat and back are a perfect choice forrelaxation.The caning is in superior condition for its age and isnot brittle. It has slightly separated from the seat in one area (see photo).It would not be expensive to have the caning repaired. This is the ONLY flaw tothe piece and does not affect the functionality of the chair. I can sit in itand there is no lessening of support.

This is truly in stunning condition for its age. It is being stored inside & covered in a temperature-controlled room where it is never used. I haveincluded several detailed photos to show the workmanship and immaculately hand-crafted design. I\'ve been told that the wood is either Teak or Indian Rosewood
