MAKE THIS RUNNER YOUR OWN! It\'s gorgeous! The colors are gorgeous, COLORS FROM WINES OF FRANCE: Chardonnay and Burgundy! Luscious white wine runner and red wine fringe. You will LOVE THIS! GENTLY USED! A classic. A beautiful medium sized example of a silk velvet runner in fabulous colors. I\'ve collected 100\'s of these velvets over the years, seldom do I have one of a kind in my collection. This IS one of a \"one of a kind.\" From the first time I saw my first silk velvet piece in my aunt\'s summer home as a child, I\'ve been \"in love\" them! I thought of them as sooo exotic! When I grew to adulthood, reared my children and began to have time to develop and pursue my own interests, anytime I spotted of these at a estate sale, antique show, etc., it was mine. I LOVE them. At one time, they were on every flat surface in my house, and then some. I have found ANOTHER storage carton to bring in the house, one I hadn\'t opened in at least 20 years with some forgotten textiles inside. HERE IS ANOTHER ONE! This one is a nice size, a versatile size, it doesn\'t have to be large to be wonderful. CONDITION: It\'s a lovely, unusual looking piece with fabulous long fringe. The fringe is in good condition, in my opinion, with very little loss of threads. THIS RUNNER IS LOVELY! There\'re NO holes, no missing nap, no stains or any serious issues. There is a slight evidence of use but nothing I can point to other than the fold mark where even the tissue didn\'t protect it from storage. (There are some reflections of light on the surface of the velvet giving an illusion of crushed spots that aren\'t there.) The fabulous colors and the lovely fringe outweigh any slight imperfections from being slightly used. Measurements: approx 11 1/2\" wide by 34\" long with an unusual additional 8\" inches of fringe on each end (When the fringe is laid out straight, it\'s 8\", it tends to \"kink\" or curl up.) It\'s in very good antique condition as mentioned above. A word about the fringe: this is high quality silk fringe that is virtually non-tangling, it\'s what you are looking for in fringe. The color of this is LUSCIOUS, pastel is more uncommon than darker colors. This size is perfect for placing over a small table or layering with another plush textile. This rectangular shape is lovely on a larger table. These velvets were popular from the 1890\'s to the 1930\'s. Please expand and review the photographs to see detail. The backside view in the last photo shows the colorization that was typical of these antique velvets. I mail antique textiles safely to avoid creasing. A NICE SIZED, RECTANGULAR, ANTIQUE, GENTLY USED SILK VELVET RUNNER IN A GREAT COLOR!
