For sale is an antique five cent nut vending machine that is in need of some attention - like a restoration project. The device appears to be an older version of machines that were popular in the 1950s -60s. There is no maker\'s name that I could find but there is a star shape on the flapper that is lifted up to get to the product. Aside from the verbiage that can be seen in the fourth picture, the # 275X is embossed on the flat surface (fifth picture). The flanges on the back of the machine lead me to believe it was mounter to a post or wall frame. The eight sided bowl has flea bites on both the upper and lower edges and one small flake on the bottom edge. The Pistachio decal can be read but just barely. There are no cracks or other defects in the glass. The bowl is approximately 6 3/4\" in diameter and 8 1/2\" tall. The opening in the bottom is 4 3/4\" inside diameter and the top 3 5/8\".
