This is an antique 1/2L Silver-Plated Pewter Lidded Beer Stein fromthe Louisiana Exposition of 1904 or \"World\'s Fair\" of 1904 held in St. Louis, MO. The stein is a beautiful detailed example with images ofbuildings from the fair on the lid and around the body of the stein.
The body of the steinfeaturing scrolling foliage around the lid, top and bottom circular bands. The central panel depicts and is captioned as \"Cascade Gardens - St. Louis 1904\". The lid depicts and is captioned as \"Machinery Building St. Louis\"
The stein measures 6 1/2\" tall and is in very good overall condition. Thestein is not currently polished, as I will leave the decision to do so or not to do so to the new owner. There seems to be some signs of wear to the silver plating and scratches onthebottom, but in overall good condition.
The bottom of the stein has a stamp for \"Apollo Silver Company\" and says \"Quadruple Plated\" and has a number 575 below the stamp.
