This is an antique 1/4L Silver-Plated Pewter Lidded Beer Stein fromthe Louisiana Exposition of 1904 or \"World\'s Fair\" of 1904 held in St. Louis, MO. The stein is a beautiful detailed example with a figural finial of King Louis IX, known as St. Louis.
The body of the steinfeaturing circular panelsdepictingthree different buildings from the 1904 St. Louis World\'s Fairalongwith the central bottom circularelementthat says \"The World\'s Fair St. Louis.\"
The stein measures 6\" tall and is in very good overall condition. Thestein is not currently polished, as I will leave the decision to do so or not to do so to the new owner. There seems to be some signs of wear to the silver plating on the bottom, but not on other portions of the stein.
