This beautiful 13\" cabinet sized doll has a perfect bisque socket head that is marked on the back: B (high along the back rim) and 8/0. She has molded, very dark single stroke eyebrows, dark blue gray threaded set glass eyes with black lashes all around, red eye and nose dots and an open mouth with five set square cut teeth. Her head is perfect with no chips, cracks or breaks. The mark seen on her right forehead (photo #7) is not damage, but looks to be a manufacturing mark. Her identification marks are unusual and the letter B is very faint and easily missed. I don\'t know if she\'s French or German, she exhibits traits of both. She is on a French body, but this is an sale doll and this may not be her original body. The body is well strung and in good condition. Since she came to me bald and naked, her wig and clothing are replacements. Her all white dress and bonnet are commercially made, probably 1970\'s to 80\'s, and fit her beautifully. She has old cotton stockings and white leatherette shoes. She wears a side-part, old mohair wig that matches her dark eyebrows and complements her coloring. Her head is stuffed with tissue paper, the pressed styrofoam pate is lightly glued on and the wig is simply pinned to the pate. Everything is easily removed. This is a truly beautiful little doll. I must down-size and am reluctantly letting her go.
The doll stand is not included. I do not ship out of the continental US unless you inquire first.
