Beautiful vintage retro ring in the Art Deco Style, in 14k yellow gold, with a center Oval Emerald at app. .75 ct or 7x5mm, 4 prong set atop a staggered shield top with 26 round single cut diamonds at app. .13 tw with a color and clarity grading of I-SI2-I1,2 which are beadset in 5 rows. Marked inside 14k and is a finger size of 6. The top measures15.88mm top to bottom, with a split shank. Under magnification the emerald looks fine; we see natural surface & interior inclusions; emeralds are soft and have inclusions, diamonds fine with little wear on the gold. The emerald faces up with very nice green color and note photos taken in different lighting to show it can appear lighter and darker depending on the angle of light, on the hand and displays. On the GIA diamond grading scale I color is near colorless, SI2 is slight inclusions, I1-2 has visible inclusions. Weighs 1.7 dwt or 2.64 grams. Art Deco in look with fine color.
