Wonderful Antique Lovely German made Doll Mold 1894 DEP
by Armand Marseille in Germany early 1900s.. She is roughly 15\" tall. Perfect Cabinet size. Lovey to display as she is dressed oh so cute.
However not perfect, on the back of her hed is a tight hairline or crack as shown, but hidden by her wonderful light mohair wig. Her body has scuffs and marks,this is how she came. So if you are looking for perfect please pass us by.
She looks to have been made for the French market, Her lovely little face has dark brows, and dark sleep eyes upper and lower painted lash with inner eye accents. open mouth with teeth and a dimple chin. Light face rubs from age and play.
Her body is composition jointed Having some scratches and marks, Has wood and composition arms and leg, with straight wrist. Long top part legs, and shorter below the knees.. I do not know if anything repair wise has ever been done, as I buy all and sell the way I find them,.
She is wearing pretty little replacement lilac colored dress drop waist pleated bottom with lace at the top cent and ribbon roses. Over jacket of darker purpls velvet type material with nice trim, and darling matching hat. Her wig is most likely a replacement, she had no pate, just a piece of carboard across the top that I had to remove to check inside.. Replaced undergarment, shoes and socks. Sweet antique girl
