This item is FREE standard postage to UK buyers....overseas buyers...you will only pay the TRACKED shipping ONCE if you WAIT for my combined invoice if its a similar weight and destination.

Here is a single bit of vellum... it is all hand written and in old English or Latin by the look of it... I can barely make any words out ans they all seem to roll in together... down near the bottom I can see the word July .... Anno.... ...Jacobi and that is about it... so if James is anything to go by its 1603 - 1625 in date.. it does look 17th Century to me though anyway ....it has 3 bits of vellum hanging from the bottom with the signatures above.. the right hand end one is the only one with the WAX SEAL intact.. and its a nice seeable family coat of arms ...signed Saw: Swanton ....the coat of arms is very similar to the WEST family actually.
It is most unusual and fascinating .
On the back it has the period wording .. as well as later pencil wording ... says Cornwall .
It is 10 inch x 6 inch with the seal tabs 2 inch long.
Further research is needed into this document as it could well be MOST INTERESTING to someone...
