This lovely, hand-crank, metal music box has a lithographed picture on the top of a young Victorian girl playing the piano. It appears that she is playing for the boudoir like doll that sits atop it. The box measures about 2.75 inches in diameter and has a milk-glass? knob on the handle. When the handle is turned, it plays a pretty melody loudly and beautifully. Better and somewhat darker than pictured, its flaws include paint loss in areas. As the handle is slightly bent, there is some damage to the graphics on top. Despite this, it does display very well.
