Original Putnam Lightning Jar. Cap is worn but dated \"Patent (April) 25 1882.\"This is not the more common Half Gallon Lightning jars, this one is only six and a half inches tall and holds a pint.Jar is in very good condition for its age, has a chip on the lip of the jar (please see close up in last picture) less than 1/4\" long.The wire bracket was removed at some point so the top sits perfectly like a cookie jar.Really great deep Aqua coloration has developed, visible even without a white backdrop or shadows as shownIf you have a question or would like to see more pictures please feel free to asksPosting lots of bottles from our collection this week so keep an eye out.
