Up for sale is an antique original 1862 Civil War era large State of Maine wall map.

The map has great colors, detail and graphics, shows typical wear for the age, some surface creases, staining (bottom right and left) and minor tearing by the bottom wood fame - see detailed pictures.

Pulished by J. Chace Jr & Co. 57 Exchange Portland, 1862. In addition to the large blow up of Maine, there are blow ups of towns such as Rockland, Thomaston, Machias, and more.

The map measures 63\"x62\" (excluding the wooden rails)

Wonderful early original piece, hard to come across, a must have for your collection, excellent wall display!
