Antique 1862 Virginia Treasury $5 Bank Note, Civil War Era Obsolete Currency, Richmond, VA. This obsolete bank note is in good condition for it\'s age with edge & corner wear & a fold that created some small pinholes at the bottom of Bennett\'s portrait, visible in the photo of the back of the note. This is a Virginia Treasury Note for $5, #31503, issued on March 13, 1862. There\'s a portrait of the Virginia Governor J. M.
