A Russian \'Peasant Barrel\' shaped brass samovar in great condition and great working order.

Made by Batashev marked Bataweba with 6 stamped Award Medals dated 1875.

There are 2 on the lid and 4 on the body.

The carrying handles are hinged and drop down out of the way.

The measurements are approx :-

16.1/2\"(cm) high x 13\"(cm) wide(handles up) x 12\"(cm) deep(including spout).

It has a capacity of approx 6 pints(2.84 litres).

It has a 5\" square base which stands on 4 feet.

The handles are brass and ebonised wood.

It does have minor dinks commesurate with age.
