Antique C1887 English Sterling Silver & CutGlass Crystal Double Ink Well Stand. Geo Foxdouble inkwell stand with pierced cut work scroll & foliage sides & raised on four cast rococo feet. Beautiful hand made gadroon border on stand& matching original hand cut crystalinkwells.Lids have matching hallmarks & collars and hinges are secure and tight. Inkwells are hand blown and cut in a diagonal criss crosspattern andhave polished pontils on bottar and are a nice tight fitin stand. Inkstand also has pen holder to hold your favorite pen! Back of stand has a central cartouche in design that could be engraved if desired but has not been. Overall size is 8 1/2\" wide x 5 3/4\"deep x 3 3/8\" tall. Weight of stand alone is 425 grams or15 ounces on a postal scale (not including inkwells or collars). Excellent condition - no dings, dents or repairs, no monogram or removal, a few very minor flakes on side corners of inkwells that you have to loupe to see.
