Antique American Historical plated metal souvenir piece from the unveiling of the large bronze Washington Monument outside the Philadelphia Art Museum, May 15, 1897. Gold finished. Regular pinback on rear of bannered text \"Souvenir\". A wreath wraps around a central star-shaped design showing a figural image of the statue and accompanying text. Backside shows faint \"Schwaab S&S Co., New York\" manufacturers mark.

Piece measures 2 1/8\" Long x 1 5/8\" Wide.

Very good. Some surface wear and scratching. Prominent gold finish on front. Clear text and image. Working pinback. No dents. Sound shape without bends.
