Offered here for your consideration is an antique Meissen 12\" Porcelain Charger or Large Plate. It dates from the late 18th to early 19th century and is in overall good condition with an old repair to the rim edge covered by old overpaint. We think this was probably a shallow rim chip, and we see no real evidence of repair on the reverse. Otherwise, there is paint loss and very tiny spots of fritting to the rim, a small chip and fritting to the foot rim, some light wear to the decoration, light glaze and surface scratches and scuffing throughout, and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
