This hand carved jade has white inclusions in the stone and overall the stone transcends into a wonderful even tone across the sculpture. This is a very rare sculpture..more than likely one of a kind and is superb in it\'s lotus leaf form. The small jade brush rest\'s stands fully on it\'s own as it was intended to be used as a functional object for a scholar\'s desk from the 1700\'s .....SIZE: 1 7/8 inches wide/long by 1 3/8 inches high by about 3/8 of an inch thick......CONDITION : Very Good condition, there are no repairs, just a few natural fissure lines in the stones which is normal.......(see photo\'s )........All items that are sold are sold as is as this is an sale.
