Here is an antique, cast-brass inkwell. I think it is French.It has lovely ornaments and details and animal claws feet.

The animal claws are characteristic for French pieces from late 18ththrough 19th century.

Condition is very good. There is a glass insert.The piece measures about 9\" long, 5\" wide, and 5\" high to the top of the lid.

The color is bright and shine yellow in old gold tone. The pictures can\'t show it\'s real beauty.

A must for a collector.
