SUPERB box

In our opinion late 18th Century Circa 1780 - Intricate and very fine work.

It has been painted with Britannia holding caduceus - A very nautical image with ship and landscape in the background....

Excellent work made with precision , care and attention to detail..

It is approx. 1 and 7/8 inches / 45 mm long . 39mm wide and 25mm tall.

Overall really in pretty good antique condition . The top with a small nibble and line whilst the base as a corner loss.

( Unsurprising given age )

However , a rare box that is highly collectable and still displays very well.
