A beautiful antique 1800s French Palais Royal blue opaline glass egg casket box in a gilt bronze ormolu basket. The eggs basket is adorned with vines and leaves and looks llike it is sitting in a real birds nest. No cracks or chips to glass. The blue opaline glass eggs hinge and clasp are working nice. 1 leaf is missing I believe. A gorgeous piece to store your most prized jewelry and trinkets.
