I am Selling an antique 19\" Doll for a friend.It has been handed down through the family. I don\'t know what it is made of but appears to be some kind of composition or paper mache. No markings on the doll and the clothes appear to be a young childs night gowns and a homemade diaper. Also included is a small bead neckless which can be seen in the pictures.The dollbelonged to my friends grandmother and is dated pre 1930s at least. It is missing its ears as you can see in the pictures. It has a cloth body and composite head, shoulders, legs, arms,feet and hands.
I am also selling a Schoenhut doll that was in the same family. I will combine shipping.
On Jan-31-15 at 04:10:55 PST, seller added the following information:I have been told by a collector on e=bay that this is a ROBINSON DOLL, circa 19-16-1929, which is sometimes mistaken for a MARTHA CHASE DOLL, made during the same time period. I will leave it up to you experts to decide.
