Wonderful Antique Lovely KESTNER German made Doll Mold 168 with square teeth. She is roughly 19\" tall. Having a beautiful face, Big blue sleep eyes working well.feathered brows painted lower lashes, (one eye retains some real lashes left). Red dot accents in corners of her eyes and nostrils. Open mouthe with 4 square cut teeth as shown. She is dusty,and soiled. Came from an old local estate and has been packed away many years. I found not chips or cracks in her bisque head, but glue around her head area from and old wig. and light rubs or scratches on her cheeks.
Her body is marked on the back as shown. Having some scratches and marks, soil as shown. I do not know if anything repair wise has ever been done, as I buy all and sell the way I find them,. Her body is composition and wood jointed.
She is wearing a darling old dress with tiny pearlized back buttons. Large collar, lace ruffles on her sleeves, with cut out or eyelet rows. slip and pantaloons. the Pantaloons just need a safety pin to hold them together, she may have gained a few pounds around the middle. no shoes or socks, stringing is okay, but could use a little tighter just from age. The wig she is wearing is a golden blond. no pate. I think synthetic? but older, bangs look may have been trimmed, also a spot of glue on the top as something may have been glued to the top at one time?
