Up for consideration is an antique 1904 sterling silver and crystal inkwell by Levi & Salaman out of Birmingham, England. The inkwell measures 1 3/4\" square by 1 7/8\" tall. The lid of the piece is marked L & S as well as an anchor and lion hallmark followed by the letter \"e\" (Birmingham sterling, produced in 1904). The piece is in excellent condition with only light wear, though the crystal well has several fleabites and its rubber gasket is dry-rotted.
