Vintage antique Art Deco style incense burner made in France in the 1920\'s by Vantines in the shape of a singing troubadour - Pierrot, strumming his mandolin leaning against a fancy lamp post. The metal work is exceptional with fine detail all over, from the Venetian style of the lamp post to the strings on the singer\'s mandolin. The underside is marked \"Vantines - 1313 - MADE IN FRANCE - DEPOSE\". This figural incense burner is missing the top cover which should fit on top of the lamp post. Otherwise it\'s in very good condition with no noticeable cracks, breaks or corrosion. It stands 8.5\" tall on a 3.25\" diameter round base, and weighs 1 lb. An old and exceptional figural incense burner from the legendary Vantines.
