You are viewing a classic hand knotted antique Persian Serapi Heriz rug. The rug measures 13 feet 10 inches X 9 feet 1 inch and is in the classic Serapi/Heriz pattern with absolutely stunning and unique colors that have only become richer with age. The rug was made in the 1920’s with traditional vegetable dyes that include rusty red, rose pink, soft turquoise, navy blue, golden mustard, teal green, ecru, and pea green, just to name a few. There have been three professional repairs (see photos). The nap is evenly worn. This is a show stopping rug that picks up SO many colors and goes beautifully with a contemporary, antique or traditional decor.
