Fine antique c 1920s arts and crafts carved picture frame. The interior measurements are 18 1/16\" by 28 1/16\". The frame is 2 1/2\" wide making the overall measurements 32 5/8\" by 22 1/2\". It measures 1\" deep. NOTE that two of the corners are carved and two are not carved. This is why this frame is obviously more suited to hang wide (18\" by 28\") than long. If one wanted to carve out the two other corners it would make the frame uniform to hang long (28\" by 18\") if desired. This is a detail but an important one. It would not be difficult to carve or have carved out the two other corners. This frame is in good vintage condition. There are some small areas of finish loss and overall consistent very light wear. The frame presents very well and there are no outstandingly negative condition issues. Some of my photos make the frame look crooked but in reality the frame is straight and not warped or crooked. This superb frame will add tremendously to any fine painting, photograph or anything you can imagine putting in it, even just a mirror shows it beautifully.
