Lovely 1930\'s Lenci regional felt doll made in Torino, Italy, 310/12 . She represents the Piemonte region as shown on her rectangular tag. She also bears the cloth Lenci MADE IN ITALY tag.
*Beautiful felt hand painted face, with classic Lenci side glancing blue eyes, eyelashes, eyebrows, painted lips and blush
*Mascotte (9\") cloth body, jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips
*Blushing felt hands typical of Lenci. Stitched fingers with single thumb
*Felt hair/wig
*Organdy ruffled hat with silk bow
*She is wearing a sewn-on regional black felt dress. There is a trim of white lace on the collar. The blue silk apron has black stitched lace at the bottom. It ties in the back with blue felt. A light blue shawl with long, sewn-on silk threads adorns her neck and shoulders. It is is sewed on
*Her petticoat and pantaloons have scalloped felt edging, typical of Lenci dolls
*She has a sewn-on black felt loop on her back. It looks like a carrying handle. You do not see many with this

She is in good condition for her age. Her face is slightly dirty with a small brown mark near the left side of her chin. Her organdy hat is a little brown at the edges. White lace around collar is slightly dirty. Black felt dress has little silk fibers on it from the silk threads of the shawl. Silk threads a little shaggy. No rips or holes.
