Antique Chinese Greeting CardsThis sale is for a very rare set of antique Chinese greeting Christmas cards. Each of the cards is completely hand painted on rice paper, so just think of all the time that went into these little pieces of art! The envelope says there are a total of 12 cards but I count 22 plus there is another unrelated Chinese card in there. The cards have both a Chinese and an English greeting inside and these were found in a 1930s-1940s era trunk in a local attic. The family was Chinese and had a lot of really great art and paper items such as these cards. The cards mostly measure about 4½" x 16½" and are in great condition with minor wear. Envelopes included!
