THE VIRGIN OF THE UNFADING FLOWER

Description:Greek icon painting. The central panel of the Triptych. Carved at the top in arch shape. Painted in the style of folk art. This \"Unfading Flower\" image depicts the Mother of God holding her Child to her left. At her right is the the bunch of blooming lily, while on Child\'s left - the candle, the symbol of the light of faith.
Medium:Egg tempera on the wood panel.
Size:height12 5/8inches x width: 8 3/4 inches at the top and 8 inches at the bottom.[32 cm x 22.5 and 20 cm]; thickness of the panel 1/2 inch[1 cm]
Condition:Good and stable condition. Left and right parts of the triptych are missing.
