This listing is for an Old Vintage 19th Century Victorian Staffordshire White Ironstone Covered Soap Box Dish. It has an English Registry Mark on bottom and looks to have an \"I\" on right corner dating it to c. 1872 (photo 5). It has Gold Gilt Decoration of Greek Key Type around lid and body. Also a band of Beads or Dots and 2 Tab Handles.
It is in great condition overall. Small tight hairline on handle and on side of box, not bad One small nick on inner liner rim and some stains inside (photos 10-12). Fine all over crazing. No other issues that I can find. Please view the photos carefully as they are my main description.
It will be securely packaged and double boxed. It measures 6 11/16\" across handles, 5 7/16\" x 4 1/4\" at body, 3 7/16\" tall to top of handle, 2\" tall to rim, 5 1/16\" x 3 13/16\" across rim, and 4 9/16\" x 3 1/4\" at the base.
