Welcome. Up for sale is a 19Th Century Dutch / German Flint glass Roemer Beaker with raised leaf, vine and grape motif. Has a nicely ground and polished foot. Perfect applied wafer. Coiled foot. Rasberry buttons applied to neck. Very fine bell tone ring to the glass.There is a small chip on the underside of the foot. Has a lot of natural wear on the foot. Thiscondition is consistant with age and use and does notcompromise the quality or integrity of the Roemer / Beaker. The bowl and design are stained an amber color. First one that we have ever seen with a raised decoration. This fine example measures approx. 5 1/4\" (13.34 cm.)in H. and 3\" (7.62 cm.) in Dia. at the foot.
