Superb Craftsmanship, , Free ShippingThis handsome casserole or pie server is a striking example of 19th century American coin silver. This serving piece is superbly crafted with a sleek handle and a broad flat blade engraved with a beautifully ornate foliate shield surrounded by a geometric patterned background and ornate border. The server has a maker\'s mark of \"F&H\" inside a vertical diamond, flanked by (we believe) English pseudo marks. Retailer\'s mark for Crosby, Hunnewell & Morse (ca.1861-1864). Monogrammed MEG. A superb addition to any collection.
