The handle is of thick solid hand blown cut crystal, nice large size with good weight in hand. Encased in opulent gilt bronze mounts decorated with neoclassical Empire motifs including dancing maidens and fierce Napoleonic eagles clutching laurel and lightening bolts in their talons. Finished with an octagonal shaped matrix, monogram appears to be a name in elaborate interlaced script. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use, with no chips or cracks to the crystal handle. Measures 3 5/8\" length
