The sale is for this antique copper running horse weathervane attributed toL.W. Cushing Co. that came from the barn of a Chester County Pennsylvania farm. I do have its provenance. It also has the original directionals which are often missing. It is full bodied and hollow (hollow head as well). Just the horse part of the vane measures app 30\" wide. It is mostly a pleasing mustard color with traces of gilding and some verdigris. There are no holes but some pock marks from bullets (It was common practice for people to shoot at weathervanes). There is a small part of the tail that is broken off. I do have the piece (in next to last picture). I couldn\'t possibly describe everything. Please see the pictures and ask questions. The directionals are app 30\" wide and 43 1/2\" tall. They are heavy.
