From a recent estate is offered a beautiful late 19th century memento mori bronze. The bronze sits atop the original marble base with gilt feet. The bronze is signed illegibly but the date is read as 1895. The bronze has rich color and patination with some oxidation and light rubbing in areas. One of the gilt feet on the base is missing a spacer (see pics) but this does not effect display in any way. Overall the piece is in beautiful condition and is sold as found.
