ANTIQUE 19th C Peaseware Treenware RED STAIN Wood TURNED BOX Patent Label 1894--- From the late 19th Century and a wonderful piece of treenware from days gone by. It was originally sold with Carpet Tacks inside. It is very nicely turned with some incised lines and has the look of Peaseware - although it is not peaseware. It is an original box that tacks came in and has the original label on the bottom that says \"Patented 8 OZ 1894 CARPET TACKS. The surface is in wonderful shape and there are no cracks nor chips to the wood surface. The stained red surface is beautiful and it has the original cord handle. It measures approx 2.25\" to 2.75\" diam and approx 2.75\" tall. It is a great little survivor.
