Incredible 19th C ZARA GIROLAMA LUXARDO Emerald Green Maraschino Cherry Liqueur Bottle.The bottlestands 14 1/4\" tall and features its original protective straw sleeve! These woven sleeves were introduced by Luxardo during the early 19th C and represent the typical Venetian method for transporting bottles on long sea voyages. The bottle features a nice long neck and applied circular moulded seal with the Zaradouble headed eagle at center. Zara was originally the capital of Dalmatia. Condition: This beautiful bottle is in Excellent condition with natural air bubbles and no chips or damage. The seal reads: I.R. PRIV PREM FAB G LUXARDO ZARA.The straw sleeve is dry from age and has a few missing/frayed vertical strands, butincrediblyit is nearly all intact! I believe this bottle dates to the early to mid 1800\'s.
