Early 19th Century Fine Deeply Carved Chinese Detailed Cinnabar Lacquer Vase with Carved Wooden Stand
Presented is a very nice antique Chinese hand carved cinnabar lacquer vase with carved wooden stand. The vase is so beautifully detailed with flowing lotus blossoms, birds and branches. This is truly a masterfully carved piece. The color is a very deep red color and the pictures seem not to portray the full beauty of the vase. The vase measures 7\" tall by 5.5\" wide and is quite heavy. There are brass insterts in the top and bottom which appear aged and somewhat stained. The wooden stand appears old. The vase dates to the late 19th century, possibly early 20th century. the condition is good, however there are some points missing to the carving around the top of the vase. The rest of the vase appears perfect.
