FOR SALE: 19th CENTURY FRENCH VICTORIAN ARMOIRE / WARDROBE -- Wonderful rare find -- perfect for period décor. This piece is exactly what would have been in a 19th Century San Francisco mansion bedroom.
This Armoire/Wardrobe is magnificent. It is all original with no restoration to the original hand-painted murals. It is very ornate with hand-painted Victorian cherubs. It has two large closets on either end. There are drawers in the center section closet. It was made in France in the 19th Century. It is very transportable due to the wonderful European design. The piece fully disassembles so that it can be taken through narrow doorways and up tight staircases. Similar pieces have been previously listed on for $10,000.00 - $12,000.00. This is a rare find and currently there are none of this magnitude listed for sale on .

Measurements: 8 feet in length, 25 inches in depth and 6 ft. 9 inches in height.

To dis-assemble, it will take 3 or 4 people. Very long bolts run from the top to the bottom. The top piece then removes, and 3 people then need to hold the sides so they don\'t fall. The back is 3 pieces, then the 2 sides and the front doors all are held in place with dowels. I believe this could fit in a suburban once disassembled. Bring blankets to protect this magnificent antique.
