This is a lovely antique handmade lace tablecloth. After some research I have determined that it has been in my family since the 1860\'s or 70\'s.

I know very little about antique textiles so please ask questions if I leave something out. The workmanship is very intricate. It feels like cotton or linen. The only flaw that I could see is a stitch that has widened not broken (see photo). There are also some very, very light small stains only visible with close inspection.

Thetablecloth measures 51\" by 49\".

It is truly lovely. It has been in storage for years and will be outstanding on display once again.
