PLEASE NOTE!!!!!!!!!!! The bowl has a TRUE FLOW BLUE Color. It has the marbled..creamy .and blue background. The photos make it come pout looking white. The bowl has spectacular coloring..creamy ..and cannot be duplicated like the reproductions. The photos just not do it justice....A Truly Incredible..authentic 1800\'s bowl. Romantic genre. Just over 17 INCHES by almost 13 inches. Height 5 and a quarter inches high.
Beautiful condition. Can you imagine this beauty filled with flowers or fruit?
It most probably came with a pitcher..As there are 3 marks inside at the bottom.
I think as a centerpiece..it is exquisite. Ironstone was the earliest form of flow blue. There is a name under the banner..but I can\'t make it out.
It has the Staffordshire name..Ironstone china..and then the name. Underneath reg U.S.. Pat off.
Underneath that..England. it also reads Flo Blue.
Romantic scenes inside and out.
Very rare to find such an enormous piece in such incredible condition.
No chips..loss of paint.
