I bought this at an antique store as a \"pretty box\". I knew what it was and was hoping a restorer/collector needs a box like this. It will need considerable restoration, as it was drilled for a hasp (and has a chunk cut from it), the upper brass latch piece is missing, and it has a pretty glossy finish with wear, scuffs, etc. Fancy inlays. Sold as-seen as-is (structurally sound). No musical guts. Box only.
Measures aprox. 16 1/2 long (not measuring the lid lip overhang) by 8 1/16\" deep by 6 3/4\" high.
