This is an antique ornate gilt frame with glass... the frame is shabby and wants restoration.
Under the glass is a stiff card and on it is a cut out from something larger bit of paper.. on it there are 6 silhouette figures ICE SKATING .. and they look to be all having a good time... a pair in the foreground and a gent fallen over to the left ...with a person pushing a figure on a chair.. this has skis on the bottom of it.. in the back ground a person sat on a bench.
Its naive in style. ...but interesting at the same time.
On the back it has a stuck on Russian receipt which I cannot read at all... I can see a date possibly.. 1987.
On the back of the stiff card holding it all in place there is some wording too on 5 rows.. again I do NOT know what this says.
It may be important.. then again it may just say BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME !
The frame is 8 and a quarter inch wide x 10 and half inch long x 3/4 inch deep.
The frame itself is very nice and antique which could be restored and if the silhouette is vintage and you dont like it.. throw it out.
