An Antique French gilt ormolu frame with easel backing, containing a miniature portrait watercolor on wafer of a royal Princess Elizabeth, sister of Louis XIV, signed LaTour. Painted probably last half 19thc. Backing of miniature appears to be vellum with very faded writing. Total height is almost 6\". Width is 4 5/8\". Brocade behind ormolu mounts is a little foxed... But overall displays very nicely. From an Atlanta Ga estate this week. Please view images as they are part of the description. No cracks or damage.
