For your consideration…a GORGEOUS Sèvres pure white porcelain deep oval bowl decorated with a courtship couple in a bucolic setting on one side and an impressionistic landscape on the other. INSIDE bowl is decorated with delicate pink and green sprays. BEAUTIFUL pompadour pink base with encrusted gold motifs. Bowl has a galleried and beaded rim and is flanked by high relief scrolling acanthus foliate handle mounts with detailed rose wreaths. Item rests on a square plinth. Painted and signed by one of Sèvres’ leading artists “C. Velly”. Hallmark in blue underglaze on the bottom reads “crossed L’s ~ A ~ France ~ S41”.

CONDITION
The centerpiece and mounts are in EXCELLENT condition. Porcelain has no chips, cracks, crazing, surface scratches or paint loss. Mounts have no dings although one is a bit loose. Bowl has a slight tilt (which I think can be corrected by tightening).
