Antique 19th c fine whitework Christening robe/gown - Ayrshire work :

This is a beautiful 19th century Ayrshire work embroidered christening gown. Finely embroidered bodice has fine down thread work and small motifs with different fillings. Bottom of front panel has 3 bunches of harvest flowers with wheat ears. In the main good condition but there are 4 neatly darned repairs to the back skirt. Slightly off white colour. Would launder to white.
