Up for offers is thisAntique 19thC French Auguste Moreau Bronzed Spelter & Marble Woman Statue Clock. This clock was made during the late 19thC in France. There is a metal plaque on the front of the statue that reads LA MUSIQUE Par Aug Moreau (Med.d\'Or). The side of the clock is signed L & F Moreau. The movement is marked with a Japy Freres trademark. The clock case depicts an Art Nouveau stylized woman that is wearing a long gown and playing a mandolin as she reads the sheet music that she has above the dial of the clock. The clocks face is porcelain and has hand painted flowers that go around the border. The base of the clock is made of marble and it has bronzed spelter feet. This piece stands 16\" in height, 20 3/4\" in length, and is 7\" in depth. The clock no longer has the key but I would it with a key that I had and it still runs but I did not check to make sure it\'s keeping time so it may need to have some minor work done to get it properly working. The clock case is in great condition with just some minor wear to the bronze finish and there are a fewminusculeflea bites to the sharp corners on the marble which are very minor and hard to notice.
