AnAntique 19thC Georgian hand crafted tooled and pierced Brass ladies fur muff hand warmer box with hinged cover ornately foliate engraved around a oval cartouche; these would be filled with a hot coal and held within a fur hand muff whilst travelling perhaps in an opencarriage. (c.1820)

Very Good-We would remind buyers that this item is antique, pre-owned & used with associated surface wear. The hinge cover is fully intact with button release to open, this can be a bit tricky to close once open needing light pressure to each side whilst pushing downwards for the button lock to catch and hold- as shown above.
